On 2017 3^rd Dec., the 4^th World Internet Conference opened in Wuzhen. Wang Huning, the member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, attended the conference. Xiong qunli, Chairman of the Board of CETC and Liehong, President of CETC attended the opening ceremony and presented the CETC’s achievement and plans of the construction of New Smart City, which is praised by Wang Huning.

During exhibition, the CETC highlighted subject of New Smart Cities, exhibiting the latest achievement of the core field of new smart cities, such as big data centers and urban management centers, and the typical application products and services of New Smart City.

At the booth of the CETC, Wang Huning learned achievements of the construction of smart cities, and commented favorably on the CETC.

The deputy General Manager Hu Aimin, the Chief Engineer Wumanqing, the Chief Scientist Yang Xiaoniu, the leading officials of the General Administrative Office, the Development Planning Department, the Human Resource Department, the Industry Department, the Technology Department, CETHIK and  CETCSC attended the opening ceremony.
